Yesterday evening, November 7th, 2012, a man in Humble was killed by a passing Union Pacific train as he walked along the tracks. It appears that some part of the train struck him in the head as it passed by, killing the man. It is believed that the conductor was not aware of the accident as the train kept on moving. The accident is currently under investigation by the Humble police and the Union Pacific Railroad police.
Not surprisingly many accidents involving trains have fatal results. Not only for pedestrians as in this case, but also for those who work for the railroads. Ben Bronston and Associates is currently handling a similar case against Union Pacific and has the experience to help both pedestrians and workers who have suffered railroad or train related injuries.
If you are injured in a train accident it is important that you contact an experienced attorney as soon as possible to protect your rights for recovery, and to guide you through the often difficult and confusing process of dealing with the railroad company.
